How
do I update my email whitelist? RECOMMENDED BEFORE SIGN-UP
Your ISP may be blocking the email messages from FreeViral
because your ISP thinks the messages are spam/junkmail.
The ISP spam filtering softwares are notorious for blocking legitimate, non-spam messages.
Fyi virtually every ISP uses SpamAssassin on their front end, to filter all incoming mail.
SpamAssassin has many flaws. (but ISPs use it out of desparation)
You can find instructions on updating your email whitelist
here: www.FreeViral.com/whitelist/
Remember to always check your Bulk folder, and your Junkmail/Spam folders
to see if your email system inadvertently routed your emails to that folder.

I
just signed up, and I haven't received an email message with my verification link.
Step 1:
Check your Bulk folder, and your Junkmail/Spam folders.
Your email system may have inadvertently routed it there.
Step 2:
If the welcome message is not in that folder, then your ISP has blocked the welcome message from getting to you.
(because your ISP is false-triggering and thinks the message is spam/junkmail)
You will need to update your email whitelist
and add freeviral.com and ehits.com to your whitelist.
That will guarantee that your ISP will not block the welcome email.
Instructions on updating your whitelist here.
Once you've updated your whitelist, then re-signup (or click the link to have a new activation email to be sent to you),
and you'll get the welcome emails.

I
just signed up, and received the verification/confirmation email message, but the verification
link does not work.
Clicking on the URL should take you to your browser (e.g. Netscape or IE or Firefox)
and then open the FreeViral pre-registration page.
NOTE:
If you have requested multiple copies of your verification email message,
you should only use the most recent email message you received.
Only the most recent verification link sent to you will work;
the older ones will be disabled.

What
can I do to ensure that I receive all FreeViral emails?
Here are some things you can do to assure you always receive emails from FreeViral:
a) Update your email whitelist. (Instructions here)
b) Disable your bulk mail / spam filtering. These filters are notorious for tagging regular email as spam.
For web-based email accounts (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc) you can find your filter settings in the Preferences or Options menu.
c) Verify your email address.
- Check
the spelling and correctness of your email address
- Make
sure you do not entered a "space" before, after, or within
your email address
- Make
sure you do not enter "www." as part of your email address
- Make
sure you do not omit the "dot" in the .com portion of your
email address
- Your
server may be rejecting email to your account because you
have exceeded your disk quota (you have too many saved messages
in your box!)
- Your
email server may be slow, please wait a bit more
- Test
your email address by sending a test email message from
a different server to your email address. We suggest
you try sending yourself a test message from a free email
account at Yahoo.com, mypad.com, hotmail.com, iname.com,
etc. If you would like to try this now, click on "File"
then "New Window" to open a new browser window. (sign-up
for any of these free accounts is quick and painless)
Tip: It's always nice to have an extra free email account
to use for your web marketing efforts, for example when you register
for search engines, to avoid getting junkmail to your real
email address.
